Teams of 3-4 students are to design an intervention in an outdoor space where text plays a central role. The design should be specific to a location/site and developed conceptually based upon its local environment/community/culture. This project explores analysis of the built environment focusing on experimentation, methodology, rapid mockup generation, and creative intervention. Students are to begin by collecting visual data and analyzing it. Principles learned from the analysis shall inform a full scale designed intervention. This is my first upper division group project and because of this project, I got to learn how to collaborate and work on teams. This is the first group that I was elected to be in charge with. Aside from being the group leader, I worked on concept development, storyboarding/user journey, persona, visual design, and the short movie.
